Il est donc l’institution comp\u00e9tente pour les proc\u00e9dures d’accr\u00e9ditation selon la LEHE<\/a>, qu’il s’agisse de l’accr\u00e9ditation institutionnelle ou de l’accr\u00e9ditation de programmes. Dans le cadre de l’accr\u00e9ditation institutionnelle, il examine le syst\u00e8me d’assurance qualit\u00e9 des hautes \u00e9coles quant \u00e0 l’enseignement, la recherche et les services ; dans le cadre de l’accr\u00e9ditation de programmes, il examine l’assurance qualit\u00e9 dans la conception et la mise en \u0153uvre des curricula<\/em>. Le Conseil est aussi l’organe de surveillance de l’Agence suisse d’accr\u00e9ditation et d’assurance qualit\u00e9 (AAQ)<\/a> et l’organe de reconnaissance d’autres agences<\/a>, en Suisse comme \u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger.<\/p>\n

Le Conseil est actuellement compos\u00e9 de quinze membres<\/a> ind\u00e9pendant-e-s, dont cinq travaillent \u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger.
