René Lenggenhager has completed a broad educational path from an apprenticeship to the engineering diploma at the University of Applied Sciences NTB, the physics diploma and doctorate at the ETHZ to the EMBA at the University of St. Gallen. In the private sector, he held various management positions at listed global market leaders such as Siemens Building Technologies SBT as Head of Research and Development, at Mettler Toledo as General Manager, at Bruker BioSpin as Group President or as CEO of the Comet Group. For several years, he was a member of the University Council of the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil (today OST), where he actively helped to shape the university and launched and supported initiatives in various other educational institutions.
Today, René Lenggenhager runs his own consulting company (Novaxent GmbH), which mainly focuses on supporting start-up and scale-up companies. He holds several directorships in Swiss and international companies and is a member of the econiemiesuisse Commission for Education and Research.
