Prof. Dr. Anita Tabacco

Professor Anita Tabacco studied Mathematics at the Università degli Studi di Torino. She obtained her Master and PhD degrees at Washington University in St. Louis (Missouri, USA). Currently, she is full professor of Mathematical Analysis at the Dipartimento di Scienze Matematiche of the Politecnico di Torino. Her mathematical research activities are related to real and complex analysis, functional analysis, harmonic analysis with particular interest in interpolation theory, theory of wavelets, trees and graphs. Moreover, she is working in the field of Engineering Education. Her research activities include the organisation of conferences, workshops and graduate schools, the participation to research projects both national and international.

Anita Tabacco is involved in the management of the Politecnico di Torino. She is now Rector’s Delegate for Transparency and Internal Communication. She has been Vice-Rector for Simplification from 2018 to 2021, Vice-Rector for Education from 2012 to 2018, and Vice-Rector for Student Orientation from 2008 to 2012. She was also responsible for quality assurance in the internal organisation. Furthermore, from 2017 to 2021, she has been the Adjoint Operating Project Manager of the foreign campus of Politecnico di Torino in Uzbekistan.
